We all have seen the video. Two women hold the elevator with Jeff Flake standing in it. They are obviously sounding distraught and complaining of being victims of rape. We really can’t confirm Ms. Ana Maria Archila because she claims that she never told anyone about it because no one would believe her.
On Monday, I stood in your office. I told you of my story of my sexual assault. I told it because I recognized in Dr. Ford’s story that she is telling the truth. What are you doing is allowing someone who actually violated a woman to sit on the Supreme Court. This is not tolerable. You have children in your family. Think about them. I was sexually assaulted and nobody believed me. I didn’t tell anyone, and you’re telling all women they don’t matter. Don’t look away from me. Look at me and tell me that it doesn’t matter what happened to me, that you will let people like that go into the highest court of the land and tell everyone what they can do to their bodies.
It all sounds very compelling, even without a shred of proof. Just a claim about an assault without even telling a soul.
Then you start to look at who Ms. Archila is and it doesn’t surprise you that she is funded by a sleeze bag like George Soros. The Socialist Group, The Center For Popular Democracy was given Millions by the George Soros Foundation to fight back “at any cost”. This organization’s Executive Director is (not surprisingly) Ana Maria Archila. It also shouldn’t as any surprise that the alleged girlfriend beater, Keith Ellison backs the effort. Birds of a feather.
FREE BEACON REPORTS:
A new $80 million anti-Trump network is being led by an organization whose top funder is liberal billionaire George Soros and which employs former members of the controversial and now-defunct Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).
The Center for Popular Democracy Action Fund, the 501(c)(4) sister organization of the Center for Popular Democracy (CPD), a New York-based nonprofit that receives the bulk of its funding from George Soros, announced at their spring gala Tuesday that they will be heading up the new $80 million anti-Trump network that will span 32 states and have 48 local partners, CNN reported.
The network will seek to mobilize new voters and fight voter identification laws. It will also focus on gerrymandering and automatic voter registration programs with an eye on the 2018 and 2020 election cycles.
Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.), the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, backed the new effort.
Ana Maria ArchilaCo-Executive Director, Center for Popular Democracy
Ana María joins CPD from our sister organization Make the Road New York (MRNY) where she served as Co-Executive Director since its formation in 2007. Before that, Ana María was the Executive Director of the Latin American Integration Center (LAIC), which merged with Make the Road by Walking to create Make the Road New York. During Ana María’s 13 years at MRNY, she focused on shaping MRNY’s electoral vision, organizing model, expansion into Long Island, and LGBTQ organizing work. Ana María also co-directed the Make the Road Action Fund.
Ana María emigrated to the U.S. from Colombia at the age of 17 and has become a leading advocate for civil rights, health care access, education equity, and immigrant rights in New York State, and nationally. She was awarded a Coro fellowship in 2004, the year after she became Executive Director of LAIC. Under her leadership, LAIC tripled in size and strengthened adult literacy, youth development and health access services to immigrants in Queens and Staten Island. Ana María helped LAIC to successfully increase immigrant political participation and power-building through voter mobilization, popular education and community organizing.
Should this at all surprise you? It has already been claimed that these Socialists will defeat the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh at any cost. Not that we support the past of Mr. Kvanaugh, He supported and help right Constitution busting laws like the Patriot Act.
